Elbrook Cash and Carry ran out well deserved winners of July’s premier inter cash and carry cricket tournament as they fought off competition from other London depots and an all - star team from Pernod Ricard.

Arriving at the ground two hours early to show they meant business and to get a last minute net in certainly paid off as they ran in comfortable winners including a dominant batting display against Team Pernod.

I would like to thank Elbrook’s attendance, team spirit and good humour in helping to create a great atmosphere on the day and I hope Elbrook will be on hand to defend their Trophy in 2014.

I look forward to seeing the trophy cast something of a shadow over the swathes of Chelsea Blue in the office.
